In episode 196 I’m continuing my conversation with Dr Kay Scanlon of the Philadelphia, Pennsylvania USA area.  She shares some helpful patient education analogies she’s seen effective, some best professional advice, the most successful marketing strategies she uses in her cash-based practice to convert potential clients and much more. Dr Kay Scanlon is a 1981 Graduate of Hahnemann University with a post-graduate Certificate in Physical Therapy and obtained a Doctorate in Physical Therapy from Arcadia University in Spring 2008.  Kay is a certified orthopaedic clinical specialist awarded by the Board of Specialties within the American Physical Therapy Association since 1995.  Kay received her Diploma in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy in 2005, she’s an adjunct faculty at several universities in the Philadelphia area including Arcadia University, the University of the Sciences in Philadelphia and Jefferson University.

Kay is actively involved in both the Pennsylvania Physical Therapy Association and the American Physical Therapy Association, and she was a board member of the Private Practice Section of the American Physical therapy Association and served as chair of several committees.
