David Gallegos MA, ATC, Cert MDT
In this episode, # 157 I'm concluding my conversation with David Gallegos. He's and athletic trainer, certified in Mechanical Diagnosis and Therapy who leads in mentoring and clinical development inside a private practice in addition to working with athletes on and off the field and court. We discuss a memorable patient experience, how mentoring and professional development is done at their clinic, a valuable resource or two and the best advice he's received.
Mr. David Gallegos graduated from New Mexico State University with a bachelors in athletic training in 1997 and continued on there receiving his masters in education curriculum and instruction in 2003. He's spent three summer and preseasons with the National Football League Arizona Cardinals, nine years as a high school athletic trainer and teacher and has been the deputy CEO for Southwest sport and spine center or nine years as well. He's served as the secretary of the Rocky Mount athletic trainers Association and has presented at the state regional and national level. He is one of only 10 credentialed MDT athletic trainers practicing in the traditional athletic training setting.
We hope to deliver this content to the committed professional who wants to improve his/her care and we hope to do it in a way that is easily accessible, the world over, in today's technological age.
