Iwasada Yoshihiro PT, Dip MDT
In episode 153 I continue my conversation with Mr. Iwasada Yoshihiro of Japan. We continue discussing the differences of a mechanical diagnosis versus a medical diagnosis. He shares his thoughts on what he now understands is the real value we, as musculoskeletal conservative care providers, bring to our patients. He contrasts the effect of treatments done to patients versus those that are encouraged to be performed and lead by the patient. All that and more, this week on MCF!
Mr. Iwasada Yoshihiro, of Tokorozawa, Japan graduated from Tokyo Hospital Rehabilitation School in 1994 and Georgia State University in 1999. He was first introduced to the McKenzie Method of MDT in 1998 when he attended Part A in USA. He became Credentialed in Mech Dx and Therapy in 2001 and attained his Diploma in MDT in 2005. He was the instrumental leader in establishing the Japanese branch of the McKenzie institute in 2001 and became the first Japanese instructor of the McKenzie Institute International in 2008 and was promoted to senior instructor in 2014. He currently is the only instructor from Japan and is active in both treating patients and teaching MDT to clinicians.
We hope to deliver this content to the committed professional who wants to improve his/her care and we hope to do it in a way that is easily accessible, the world over, in today's technological age.
