Case #88 - Zach McKee
In Case #88, we are joined by Zach McKee, a chiropractor and Cert MDT, working full-time in a group practice with multiple clinics throughout Milwaukee, Wisconsin USA, and also works part-time with IMC as a telehealth provider in various states throughout the nation.
Zach presents the case 51 year old female with left elbow pain of insidious onset 12 weeks prior. We also learn the patient has a history of neck pain, left hand weakness, chest wall symptoms, and occasional "electric shock" down the arm. (1hr, 22min, 40sec)
He provides a visit by visit description regarding the patient's symptomatic and mechanical baselines with insights on to how to treat a patient whose symptoms worsen on their first visit, and how to maintain the trust and confidence of the patient within herself and her provider. Zach also describes his thought process in differentiating spine from extremity and derangement from OTHER through patience and reliance on the MDT method, not letting the ego get in the way of appropriate care.
