Session 072201 with Scott Herbowy
In Session 072201 and 2 we’re joined by Scott Herbowy, a senior faculty with the McKenzie Institute USA. Scott shares a 52 yr old male presenting with a referral diagnosed with adhesive capsulitis and shoulder subluxation. He complained of shoulder and scapular pain and difficulty with reaching overhead as well as some disturbance to sleep and symptoms lying in left sidelying. He walks us through the patient’s history, his clinical rationale in narrowing down the likely classifications, patterns he sees with extremity pain of spine source versus local extremity source, the patients physical presentation and response to repeated movement testing. He also shares his management of the patient in differentiating between articular dysfunction versus derangement and other ultimately to another successful outcome.
