In Session 072203 we’re joined by Stephen Heffner, a senior faculty member with the McKenzie Institute Chiropractic Branch. Steve shares a 61 year old female with right elbow pain and paresthesia into the hand and fingers. Steve walks us through his history of this patient including what specifically he asked and in what order and why. He talks about 3 questions he asks every patient, the purpose of those questions and how that gets him quickly to classifying the patient. What area of the history Steve focuses on which he feels makes the physical exam easier. He also shares several variations of loading strategies he used for this patient and others which he may use for similar patients when necessary (video demonstrations included).
