Case #8 - Greg Lynch

$15.00

In case #8 I’m joined by Mr. Greg Lynch, international faculty of the McKenzie Institute International of Wellington, NZ.  Greg comments on this 30 year old male with a 2 year history of central neck pain.   This is a great case to sharpen your adherence to the key principles of MDT and help you not miss the mark on the basics. We discuss the patient’s history and what is mentioned which leads Greg to interpret the behavior of the symptoms to suggest a particular classification.  A second layer of questions Greg might ask to further build confidence and narrow down the likely classification. The importance of identifying the mechanical response not just keeping a close look at the symptomatic response. We talk about what might lead someone to consider going after a provocative movement versus a reductive one.  And when he returns with some improvement but at times he describes the symptoms are worsening Greg shares thoughts on diving deeper and question what he’s doing in the gym and out of the gym which might be contributing.
